One of my Favorite movies is When Harry Met Sally. If you haven't seen the movie, Watch it! Its a Must See! But First, let me tell you something about myself - what type of movies I love to watch. I spend my 5 nights mostly at home -from Monday to Friday or Saturday Nights, I spend my time in front of the TV from 6 pm till 12 midnight. I have sets of paper bags and a list of movies I would watch for that night. I'm also the type - who depends on the mood.
There might be times that I would watch Horror/ Thriller films for the whole week; From Nightmare on Elm Street A.K.A. Freddy Krugger, Shutter, to House on Hunted Hill. In other times I would watch Action/ Suspense Films; We have the Die Hard from 1 to 4, The Italian Job, and Hannibal. I rarely watch Comedy, such as Borat and Scary Movie.
Then We have the All-Time-Favorite List. The list that doesn't fade as time passes by.
I have a very long list of that one. But My favorite Timeless Piece includes:Benny and Joon [1994]
Only You [1996]
Before the Sunrise [1996]
The Way We Were [1973]
Breakfast at Tiffany's [1961]
One thing is always common with Chick Flick Movies - Unrequited Love. And I Shall Quote:
"When two people love each other...truly love each other, but they
just can't seem to get it together; When do they get to the
point of enough is enough?
- Never."
-- The Mexican [2001]
Here is another Famous Line:
"Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds
attractive. He always wants to have sex with her."
-- Harry Burns, When Harry Met Sally [1989]
Can men and women ever be merely friends, without the temptation of sex? This is the question that this movie so famously posed. Its a very interesting subject to expand about. We know that for a fact that alot of bestfriends have the potential to be lovers. Its a fact that 80% of friendship do end up being in a relationship. Maybe its human nature, inevitable, or metaphor - an abstract of our imagination into reality.
Watch the movie...
Put on your jammies.
Sit on the couch.
Munch a bowl of cereals.
Press Play.
P.S.
Its nice to have a scoop of Ice Cream after the Movie.
And I Shall Quote before I end my thoughts...
"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to
spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of
your life to start as soon as possible."
-- Harry Burns, When Harry Met Sally [1989]

How can someone be so cruel? Not even thinking how can the other feel? When I receive the request. I was shocked and stunned of what I was reading "who". How come he never thought of my feelings? Was two years enough to forget what happened? And Why? Why? Why? Am I feeling this? I should stop caring since that night, when the long hand of the clock hits twelve. They say that "love takes time to heal, especially when we are hurting too much". How long exactly will that time comes? I've been waiting, waiting patiently. As much as I wanted to count ever second, minute, hour that pass. I try really hard not too. But I'm only human right? And No human is too busy, twenty four hours, seven days, 12 months, to not see and count the time. I am trying real hard not to care anymore. I've been praying for him to have his perfect life. To be happy, content, satisfied. To have the dream-come-true i his life. So, so that he wont think of me. When I got that request, I could think of this... That he is not happy. That something is wrong with him. That things are falling apart from him. Now, I say this with pure honesty. That I am wrong of thinking of this. That I felt sorry for myself, for lingering like this in my life. That I am pathetic, to long for something that I used to have to that I just let it go. Let go just because to prove that, we are destined for one another and that No matter how long, painful things comes to our way, we can endure it. It was so painful enough for me to accept that he just replace me. REPLACE me! Replace me just like that. Not even given enough time to see, if we have a chance the next year.
How much more should i endure with this? How come he didn't even consider my feelings by adding me? Is this a sign that I am that easy to forget? I wish all of this suspicions is just me. Its just in my head. I really hope that my prayers will be answered. I never wanted to harm him. I didn't toy with his love. I worked so hard for myself to not be in this situation. But I guess, I should have put more effort to it. With just a request, I become This.

Another senti moood....
I'm half way thru watching "Only You". Its 12 pass 5 A.M. It got me thinking if we are destined to meet "the one". Its over a year and I'm still dreaming to meet that someone. I guess and I hope that I am speaking for the other ladies out there. Do we really make our own destiny? or It just work for there people out there. I was ones told that "we only get one chance". When do we really know when that Chance pass us? Do we feel it, when it pass our way? Is it like the "butterflies" in our stomach? or The feeling of "bliss"? The feeling that makes you sick, a good kind or sick. The ones that makes you want to fly. . . Fly like the Kite. Above the ground and below the heavens? And you just let your tail be a guide. A guide to know where the wind is blowing. You will want more and more. Will be addicted to it. Wanting it. Smelling it. Tasting it. Wanting to make it dance in your palms. Like a little fairy. A yellow fairy with wings! Yes! Carefree and Beautiful! Wouldn't it be nice? Then there will be patterns around. Cloud like patterns. There will be flowers, rain drops, sunrise, rainbows, mallows, chocolates, hearts, dragonflies, dolphins jumping as spinning around and lastly pixie dust! All over! Everywhere! Around me! It would be sparkling, bright. It will reflect pastel colors, like a kaleidoscope. Some dream i have.

I am not a fan of Pinoy movies. It all started with my friend Rob, who keeps inviting me to watch the newly highly talked about pinoy movies. I’ve watched three movies so far.
1. Bru and Palits
2. Joanna, Ian, and Karyn And
3. Popoy and Basha
I’m sure you can guess the titles of the movie I’ve written above.
I’m not sure why I’m writing this down. As I am continuously type, i’ll figure out where I am going with this.
I just finish e-mailing my Best- Rina. Do some small paper work, that’s on top of my desk. Smoke and smoke. I was telling my best friend about the movie I watched yesterday. I forgot to mention to her that the whole movie house was packed with couples or girl friends.
Its not a date movie.
Its more of a couple movie or a post “had my heart broken by someone I believe to be my The ONE” movie. Its your typical movie that is about long term relationship, growing up, learning , and fighting for the one you believe to be your true love.
It’s the movie that will move you because you have experience it.
I think it’s only the girls who can understand Bea at the movie. The part of the girl’s life when she is getting tiered and needing space. The feeling of suffocation. The changing of character. Getting lost. Not knowing who she is anymore. It’s about self seeking. Finding the answers by your own. Getting out there and experiencing it without any help from your friends. The growth that only time and experience can teach us. This is the only part of Bea’s character that I can relate too. I felt this feeling. Only my girlfriend can understand it. My guy barkada can’t, no matter how much I or my girlfriends explain it to them. The part of a girl’s life that makes her a grown woman.
John’s character was the one who save the relationship. Without his strength, intelligence, and willingness to pursue, this movie won’t be ideally, and faithfully correct. I think, most people could relate to him. Unless you haven’t had your heart broken. It’s the: I want to get drunk, stay in bed, smoke, smoke, smoke, and smoke, thinking over and over, not eating at all, wanting to be alone, I want to die. It’s the love that is hurting too much, but you can’t stop loving that person, no matter how you try- Cause you know it’s the right love for you. John’s character was the control freak, planner, commander, and selfish. He is the type of person who is strong, knows what he wants- makes it happen, plans for the future – in his own control, had the effort to pursue and make things happen, he had a gift and curse- to make someone change, and lastly - believes in faith. I’m not being boastful, but am I almost the same as him. Like a vague water color painting from afar.
This is my bell. The bell that will; should wake me up- this time. It’s like the summary of my story, telling me… It ends here, time to start another chapter. The after story of moving on, the part where people find it boring, (that’s why no one makes a movie about it). It’s a start of a new me.
I don’t believe that we always end up with “the one”.
I don’t believe that love will find the way.
I don’t believe that love is enough to make the whole world spin
I don’t believe that sacrifices are worth in the end
I don’t believe that love does heal
Cynical as it appears
Bitter as it sounds
It’s who I am.
